It’s finally here, the prequel to Halloween, Frankenstein Day! The day where we celebrate the birth of the greatest female horror writer, Mary Shelley, and her greatest creations, Victor Frankenstein’s Monster.
Written in 1818 Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus was written as a competition with Lord Byron and John Polidori, about who could write the best horror story. I think we can say she won, with a whole day devoted to worshipping Shelley and her Monster.
Here are some of our favourite items to look ‘franken-fine’ on Frankenstein day.
