Sky-high Pony

A slicked back hair sweep is one of the most understated and simple tricks to do. All you need is a comb and some hairspray and you’re good to go. This is the perfect style for no matter what colour or length your hair is, whether it’s curly or straight, you can take the look from day to night and it takes approximately five minutes to perfect. What’s not to love?!

Can you think of a time when Beyonce HASN’T looked fabulous? No I can’t either, and now you can feel just as fabulous with this simple yet statement look. Simply curl the ends of your hair and sweep it back into a neatly groomed high ponytail. To add the extra difference to a normal ponytail, take a small section of your hair and wrap it around the hair tie. To finish, give it a quick spray of hairspray and you’re set to ‘slay all day’.

Bold braids

Braids are one of the easiest go-to technique which are easy to learn and quick to do. This style seen on Sofia Richie takes all of five minutes to carry out, while still making an edgy impact. Simple straighten your hair then take a section from your middle parting. Perform a small french braid from the scalp and follow down to the end of your hair securing with a small elastic hair tie. Perfect for working from day to night, whatever the occasion.

If your mane goes on for days why not take advantage of the volume and length while showcasing a loosely, undone-looking braid? With the braid not starting from the top, it makes it easier to do and more accessible for those of us who struggle with technical braids on a day-to-day basis. Simply plait the length of your hair, securing with a hair tie and finish with a spritz of hairspray. Leave it to choice whether you want to follow suit from Gigi and bring out those loose parts of hair to shape your face or accessorise the style to give it an extra oomph for a night out with your girlfriends.

Undone Bun

An old favourite which a lot of us gravitate towards on those days where our hair could do with a little bit more TLC or simply when you’ve slept in and don’t have the time in the morning to be as creative as you’d wished, the messy bun is a life saver! This look can take you from day to night, can transition through any outfit, support any make-up look and still make you fabulous no matter what! The whole reason it’s an undone bun is because it’s made to look messy and look like you’ve spent no time perfecting it. It’s super easy to do and is a favourite among us all!
