NYFW: Calvin Klein AW16

Making a statement on the front row was Zoe Kravitz and top actress Margot Robbie in an extremely similar long mustard coat. Another huge celebrity that attended was former Calvin Klein model Kendal Jenner, looking super cute in a cream crop top. Although some may wonder why she wasn’t staring in the show.

Ruby Aldridge, Caroline, Suvi Koponen, and Julia Nobis all walked on the runway.

The music sounded as if it was from another dimension which went with the clothing as they were surreal, out of this world!

A black slick, wool suit with an over sized jacket, and wide leg trousers opened the show, on the last day of New York Fashion week.

Leather straps and shiny belts worn lose gave it a S&M moment although not vulgar. The bold shoulders and fitting of the suit made a slightly masculine, but it was recused by the low plunge camisole and pointed black heels, giving this look a sexy edge.

Calvin Klein has a long history with the sexual clothing and lingerie. The idea for this collection was making interesting but also sexy clothing.

The glowing barefaced models with swept baggy ponytails strutted their stuff down the catwalk in stunning blurred animal print midi dresses, finished with unique age embellishments that used circular spaces in the dresses. Francisco Costa continued these prints from the pre-fall.

The collection also displayed a large number of stunning statement coats. There was a massive fur moment on the coats, some fur collars on slick dazzling leather and some on tartan outwear.

Plaids are dominating the catwalk this season. Costa decided to imbalance his. He showed combinations such as the black and white checked lengthy, deep side slit tunic over some gorgeous navy tartan, wide leg trousers. This statement outfit was finished off with a shinny lose, oversized , leather black belt. This outfit choice would be excellent for a girl with an open mind.
