The Bridges annual student shopping night happened yesterday evening and the shopping centre was filled with students making the most of store discounts, freebies and the live DJ set. Here at Fashion North, we attended the event and scouted out the most stylish students to take part in our style challenge in the hopes of winning the £50 Bridges voucher to spend throughout the shopping centre.
The student shopping event this year is the first event the Bridges has held since the coronavirus pandemic.
Samantha Czwordon-Auld, PR officer at the Bridges Sunderland said: “We are so excited to be back, it almost feels like we weren’t away.”
The team at the Bridges ensured that the event remained as safe as possible whilst also keeping it a fun evening for the students.
“The only big difference is we didn’t close the centre and then reopen. We altered the opening times from 5pm till 8pm is operational time this year and the reason for that is purely the fact we’d have a lot of crowds gathering and things like that which we wanted to avoid.”
The competition is open for YOU to vote who was your favourite outfit from the five below. The individual with the most votes will receive a £50 Bridges voucher to spend and we will be running the poll for one week.
