Victoria Beckham’s Dover Street store opens

Victoria Beckham New York Fashion Week

The Spice Girl/ model/ designer/mother has opened her first store on Dover Street in London. The store was confirmed in January and since then Victoria has been making the store into, well, paradise.

Designed by Farshid Moussavi, who was responsible for the infrastructure of the London Olympic Games Park, the shop includes a VIP personal shopping area, American nut cabinets which are all made with wood from the same tree, a polished-concrete staircase and beetle-shell green glass wall changing rooms. In other words it’s a little better than your average  Topshop store.

VB has been teasing us for a few weeks about the store opening. Her Instagram has given us sneak peaks into 36 Dover Street, from videos of the store being built to images of the door number and even videos of her collection hanging on unique rails in the store. Note the clothes are covered in clear bags after builders were finishing off work and got dust on them. Nightmare. Absolute nightmare.

This new adventure has us very excited, but the fact David Beckham might be working in store from time to time has made us want to visit even more.
