We’re back and better than ever: welcoming our students back to campus

After six months off campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fashion journalism students at the University of Sunderland are back on campus for the new academic year, meaning Fashion North contributors will be back to posting regular content.

Extra precautions have been taken on campus to keep students safe.

A mixture of new and old students will now be back on campus weekly, with some lectures being taught online in order to keep students as safe as possible amongst the coronavirus pandemic. Extra precautions have been taken at the university to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including one-way systems, numerous hand-sanitizing stations, and a limited capacity in each room to ensure social distancing is possible.

Our writers will be holding weekly conferences to pitch ideas for stories which our readers will love, meaning you can now expect to see more fashion and beauty content from the North East, including videos, trend forecasts, catwalk reports and podcasts.
