Charlotte Tilbury X Norman Parkinson

Charlotte Tilbury

Arguably one of the most successful beauty brands in the industry, Charlotte Tilbury, has teamed up with Vogue photographer, Norman Parkinson, to create a beautiful collaboration of his most renowned work on to the packaging of the make-up brand; including the Jerry Hall cover image used in Vogue’s May 1975 issue.

The vintage images spawned a make-up bag and a new take on the Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette, which is inspired by the natural fall of sunlight.

“I have always been fascinated and inspired by the incredible work of Norman Parkinson”, Tilbury told Vogue. “This Vogue cover is a reference that I return to constantly – I’m obsessed with Jerry Hall’s beauty and how Parkinson has portrayed it here. Parkinson’s ability to capture light hugely influences how I think about make-up – that whole soft-focus look”.

 The range also includes:

Dreamy Glow powder highlighter featuring a 1959 Vogue cover of Carmen Dell’Orefice.

Creamy lip and cheek glow bearing an image of Parkinson’s wife Wenda.

Two matte lipsticks, alongside the Jerry Hall-print make-up bag.

A large wash bag.

Although the collaboration was announced yesterday (March 12th) you’ll have to wait, as the collection will be available from July at Selfridges and www.charlottetilbury.com
