The virtual red carpet did not stop celebrities from showcasing their fashionable choices for this years Golden Globes. On Sunday, the 78th annual Golden Globes took place virtually with nominees joining from their homes around the world.
The celebrities did not fail to attend the ceremony dressed in their finest gowns and tuxedos to give viewers at home a piece of award season normality.

Dripping in blue Gucci silk, Elle Fanning’s Old Hollywood glamour gown featured a dramatic cape detail and long train.
The Black Panther actor, Angela Bassett was one of the nights presenters and took to the stage wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown. The custom purple gown came with a one-shoulder feature and crystal detailing with a thigh-high split which was styled together with coordinating purple sandals.
Nicola Coughlan is the much loved star of Netflix’s Bridgerton, which has taken the world by storm in late 2020 leading to multiple nominations at the ceremony. The Irish actress wore a lemon-yellow Molly Goddard tulle gown with a black cardigan and glittering jewellery.
Andra Day was named Best Actress for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in The United States Vs Billie Holiday and she was dressed accordingly for her big night. She opted for a pale grey Chanel bodice gown straight from their spring/summer 2021 couture collection.
Margot Robbie never fails with her outfit choices to a red carpet, even if it is virtual. Dressed head-to-toe in a Chanel spring/summer 2021 monochrome tiered dress, which was fitted with a thigh-high split and a Chanel logo belt.
Nominated for her role in Emma and The Queen’s Gambit, Anya Taylor-Joy stunned in a custom emerald green Dior gown with Tiffany & Co jewellery.
Amanda Seyfried kept it classic with a Old Hollywood silhouette with this custom Oscar de la Renta gown. The coral dress was decorated with a shoulder to shoulder individually embossed petaled flowers with diamond earrings and matching necklace.
Nominated in the Best Director category, Regina King wore a shimmering Louis Vuitton accessories with silver diamond jewellery.
