Monochrome Milan Looks

I am going to Milan Fashion Week with the university this February and I had the opportunity to showcase some potential outfits for this amazing opportunity.

For my first look I wanted a more toned-down and comfy option and I find that monochrome outfits tend to look more effortless and cohesive without having to be over the top and in your face about it. I decided for a causal day look to go with some baggy black jeans, an oversized cosy off the shoulder knit jumper from H&M and some chunky loafers from Vagabond which add some height without being too uncomfortable to walk for extended periods in.

For my second outfit I decided on a more formal monochrome look perhaps to be worn while out for drinks in the evening, I chose a flattering black body con maxi dress which is a boohoo dupe of the skims long sleeve soft lounge dress. It’s a super simple look that is easy to throw on after a day out and yet still looks very elegant. I find black to be complimentary to my body shape and the material really pulls me in which I love.

I’m excited to debut the looks I’ve styled in one of the world’s fashion capitals.
