How to dress like a 90s supermodel

The 90s era was filled with glamorous supermodels like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, iconic tv shows such as Friends and Sex and The City, but more importantly it gave us fashion trends that we still know and love today.

The looks of the decade still inspire many designers today, producing re-editions of iconic handbags like the Fendi Baguette and Dior Saddle, made famous by Carrie Bradshaw. Those trends and famous faces from the decade still play a major part in my personal style.

A classic 90s model off-duty look usually consisted of an oversized dad fit blazer paired with either a blue light-wash denim mom jean or a knit jumper, mini skirt and knee boots. This outfit, inspired by Cindy Crawford, is the perfect look for autumn winter. Style together a cream ribbed jumper with a simple black mini skirt together with a leather blazer and mini shoulder bag for the ultimate 90s look.

A leather blazer is a wardrobe staple and is a piece of clothing that is very iconic to the decade. A lot of models would be seen wearing the coat with matching knee boots. For this look, I have taken a simple ribbed jumper dress and styled it underneath the blazer and with some tights for a simple, everyday winter outfit.

For the warmer days a mini dress is always the appropriate options for a coffee date with friends or even for night out. Style your everyday black knee boots with a button detailing long-sleeved mini dress, a very simple outfit but it makes you look very put together.
